Wordchain for Web subscription licences have 6 months to be assigned to a student, and then run for 6 months from when they are assigned.
When an ADMIN or TEACHER is looking at a Student Group, they can see when assigned licences expire:
When licences have less than 61 days left, they will switch from showing an expiry date to how many days they have left. They will also get closer to red as expiry approaches.
The sample screenshot above is from August 2022, so Student 4 has a long time left; the others are at varying stages of getting close to expiry.
There are also messages for a student when they log in, if their licence has less than 61 days:
When a licence expires, a student can still log in and do demos, but no progress is saved.
To extend a licence, click the blue EXTEND button. You can then extend the licence (or click the X to cancel out)
6 months will be added to any days already remaining, so you don’t need to wait until the last moment!
If the blue EXTEND button is dulled out, then you don’t have any unallocated subscription licences to use for extensions. Your ADMIN will need to order more licences, as per step 1 in “Start Here”.
